What’s you NAG saying to you today?

Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007

If you have started this new year by making resolutions and have already broken most of them, and it’s only the 3rd of January… what do you do NOW?

The best advice I’ve heard is first of all…….don’t make a resolution….make yourself a PROMISE! When you promise yourself something you make a deal between you and what it is that you want. The only person responsible for this deal…is YOU!!!
Have you ever promised a child something? Trust me…if what you promised them is something they really want children are relentless reminding you that you MUST KEEP YOUR PROMISE. They have no qualms in reminding you, “YOU PROMISED!”

So if you are sincere about changing your life for GOOD….these are the steps in making promises that you can keep and realize amazing results for your life.
1. Make sure the promise is something that you truly want.

2. Ask yourself if you are capable of keeping this promise

3. Don’t let up on fulfilling the promise until you have made it come true.

4. Don’t break the promise…no matter what.

5. Ask for help from everyone or anyone who can assist you in keeping the promise

6. Don’t beat yourself up if you forget, or get sidetracked. Just gently tell yourself you will do better.

7. A promise is a work in progress. Remember, there is always a way to work on fulfilling that promise

8. There’s no deadline to the promise……..so enjoy the adventure of making the promise come true.

9. Promises are not meant to be broken. Never give up on what you promised yourself, no matter how big or small the promise might be.

10. All promises have the guarantee of being fulfilled. You are the only one who can break the promise. You are responsible for finding out how to make the promise a reality. There are no excuses. You have the strength, the resources and the ability to always succeed. Keep asking for help from everyone, including yourself.
Remember, you are only as good as your word, so find every possible way to make sure that what you promise will be realized. Now list your promises. If you find that you become unfocused, scattered or start to break your promises, remember it’s just the NAG trying to take control and make you miserable.  Don’t let the NAG take over.   Pick up the book THE GOODNESS EXPERIENCE and start to work the program daily….this book will give you the support and the answers to fulfill all of your New Year’s promises…….your year will begin to create AMAZING MIRACLES. I PROMISE!
